Completed applications can be emailed to info@tswcd.org, faxed to (575) 751-9253 or mailed to Taos SWCD, 220 Chamisa Road, Taos, NM 87571. Taos SWCD will not accept applications that do not have all of the required information already attached. For instance, if your property tax bill (if required) is not already attached, please do not submit your application. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Taos SWCD is not accepting applications in person at this time.


Group Acequia Program

This program is for officially recognized acequia entities located within Taos County only. Please read the information about how the Group Acequia Program works prior to filling out an application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted so please do not submit an application that does not include all of the required information.

Individual Acequia Program

This program is for individual landowners who both own land within Taos County AND are actively using that land for agricultural purposes. Please read the information about how the individual Acequia Program works prior to filling out an application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted so please do not submit an application that does not include all of the required information.

Forest Health Program

This program is for individual landowners who own forested land within Taos County. Please read the information about how the Forest Health Program works prior to filling out an application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted so please do not submit an application that does not include all of the required information.

Range Improvement Program

This program is for individual landowners who own 40 or more acres of range land located within Taos County that has an intact external fence. Please read the information about how the Range Improvement Program works prior to filling out an application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted so please do not submit an application that does not include all of the required information.

Stream Restoration Program

This program is for individuals who own land that includes or is adjacent to a stream with erosion or stream health issues. Incomplete applications will not be accepted so please do not submit an application that does not include all of the required information. Applications submitted on behalf of a neighbor must have the required approval documentation from the landowner prior to submittal.
